* English Version : Instead of throwing into the garbage your ripe bananas (or reserving them in the freezer for your smoothie bowls), I am sharing with you a great and healthy cake recipe…the banana bread !
It is perfect before a training. Usually, I eat 2-3 parts before an interval training session. I cannot get into a warrior mood with an empty stomach ! I would like to add that I always add a black coffee because it boosts the cardiovascular system and then awakens both my head and my body ! 🙂
Ingredients for 1 banana bread :
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup of soft spelt flour
- 1/2 cup of oat bran
- 1 TSP baking soda
- 1/2 TSP baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 TBSP pure cacao powder (unsweetened)
- 1 egg
- 1 TBSP agave syrup
- 5 TBSP coconut oil
- 1 TSP vanilla extract
- 1 and 1/2 handful of dark chocolate chips
Marbled banana bread Recipe :
- Preheat the oven to 210 degrees
- In a bowl, beat an egg with vanilla extract, add the agave syrup and the coconut oil.
- In another bowl, mix the flour, the bran, the baking soda and powder and the salt.
- Pour the content of the liquid/wet bowl into the dry one, while mixing continuously.
- Fold in 1 handful chocolate chips. Reserve 1/2 handful for the topping.
- Divide the batter into 1/3 and 2/3.
- Mix the 1/3 part with 1 TSBP pure and unsweetened cacao powder
- Grease a loaf pan with coconut oil.
- Pour half of your white batter, add the cacao batter on top, then add the remaining half white batter on top.
- Use a knife to cut inside the batter and make a few waves to create the marbled effect.
- Sprinkle remaining dark chocolate chips on top .
- Bake for 30-40 minutes (verify the baking with a knife)
- Allow banana bread to cool, then switch it to a plate
- Store for 2 days at room temperature or in the fridge for 4-5 days.
- Serve with peanut butter on top (optional)…and enjoy !

Personnellement, je prends toujours 2 à 3 tranches avant un entraînement HIIT ou mon fractionné au petit déjeuner ! Impossible d’attaquer sans rien dans le ventre…c’est assez physique on est bien d’accord ! Et je l’accompagne toujours d’un café noir qui boost le système cardiovasculaire et réveille donc ma tête et mon corps ! :).
Ingrédients nécessaires pour 1 banana bread marbré :
- 3 bananes bien mûres, écrasées
- 1 tasse de farine d’épeautre
- 1/2 tasse de son d’avoine
- 1 Cc de bicarbonate de soude alimentaire
- 1/2 Cc de levure chimique
- 1 pincée de sel
- 1 CS de cacao en poudre pur (non sucré)
- 1 oeuf
- 1 CS de sirop d’agave
- 5 CS d’huile de noix de coco
- 1 Cc d’extrait de vanille
- 1 et 1/2 poignée de pépites de chocolats noirs
Recette de bananda bread marbré :
- Préchauffez votre four à 210 degrés
- Dans un bol moyen, battre un oeuf avec l’extrait de vanille, ajouter le sirop d’agave et l’huile de noix de coco.
- Dans un autre bol plus large, mélanger la farine et le son, le bicarbonate de soude, la levure chimique et le sel.
- Verser le contenu du bol liquide dans la préparation sèche tout en remuant continuellement.
- Verser 1 poignée de pépites de chocolats noirs et mélanger la préparation. Conserver 1/2 poignée de pépites de chocolats pour la verser sur le dessus du cake avant cuisson.
- Diviser la préparation en deux : 1/3 et 2/3.
- Mixer le 1/3 avec 1 CS de cacao en poudre pur non sucré
- Tamponner votre moule à cake avec de l’huile de noix de coco.
- Verser la moitié de votre préparation blanche (vanille uniquement), ajouter ensuite la préparation au cacao juste au-dessus puis ajouter la moitié restante de la préparation blanche.
- Utiliser un couteau et le planter dans la préparation en faisant 3 à 4 mouvements de vagues (ne pas mélanger les couches) pour donner l’effet marbré.
- Saupoudrer les pépites de chocolat noir restant sur le dessus du banana bread .
- Faire cuire au four pendant 30-40 minutes (vérifier la cuisson à l’aide d’un couteau propre)
- Laisser refroidir avant de démouler votre banana bread.
- A conserver pendant 2 jours au réfrigérateur ou bien 4 à 5 jours à température ambiante.
- Servir avec du beurre de cacahuètes (optionnel)…et déguster !
